New and Zeal Fine Foods（ニュー・アンド・ジール・ファインフーズ）は、1本のアボカドオイルから始まりました。そして、それは私にとってとても特別なものです。
私はニュージーランド出身で、アボカドオイルは昔から家庭の定番でした。健康的で、料理にも使いやすく、何より自然なおいしさがあります。そんな中、実家がニュージーランド・ベイ・オブ・プレンティ地方でアボカドを育てており、私自身もその生産やオイル作りに関わる機会がありました。
その体験を通じて「この味を日本に届けたい」と思い、Vista Avocado Oil（ビスタ・アボカドオイル）として輸入・販売をスタートしました。
そこから、私の想いは広がっていきました。
ニュージーランドには、まだまだ知られていない素晴らしい食品がたくさんあります。さらに、イタリア産のトリュフオリーブオイルのような、世界各地の“本物の味”も紹介していきたいと思うようになりました。こうして生まれたのが、New and Zeal Fine Foodsです。
私たちは、大量販売の会社ではありません。信頼する生産者から直接仕入れ、自分の手で輸入し、自信を持ってお届けしています。最初はオイルやワインから、今後はチーズなども加えていく予定です。
「自分の家族に食べさせたい」と思えるものだけを、あなたの食卓にも届けたい。それが私たちのこだわりです。
New and Zeal Fine Foods began with a bottle of avocado oil—and a deeply personal connection.
Originally from New Zealand, I’ve always known avocado oil as a staple in our kitchens: healthy, versatile, and full of natural flavor. But it became more than just an ingredient for me. My family grows avocados in the Bay of Plenty, and during a return home, I had the chance to be involved in the process firsthand—working alongside growers, pickers, and oil makers who take real pride in their craft.
That experience inspired me to bring something meaningful to Japan: a product I not only believed in, but had a hand in—from orchard to bottle. That’s how Vista Avocado Oil was born.
From there, the vision expanded.
I realized there are many incredible foods in New Zealand—honest, high-quality, and hard to find in Japan. I also saw opportunities to source rare gems from beyond New Zealand, like a beautiful truffle-infused olive oil from Italy. And so, New and Zeal Fine Foods was created: a company dedicated to sharing exceptional, hard-to-find foods directly from producers I know and trust.
Every product we offer is something I personally import. We’re not a large distributor—we’re a small, hands-on company with a love for great food and real connections to the people who make it. Starting with oils and wines, and eventually expanding into cheese and more, we aim to bring a taste of something truly special to your table.
Whether it’s from my home in New Zealand or a passionate maker elsewhere in the world, if I wouldn't serve it to my own family, I wouldn’t sell it to yours.
